History in the making," Cleaners embark on management training!"
A motivated group of six cleaners, employed by Bidvest Prestige Group Middelburg, approached their general manager, Mr James Cunningham and said they wanted to become managers! James immediately took the matter further and very soon Leon Steyn (Divisional Executive: HR) ,Cindi du Preez (GM: Training and Development) and Kimber Mavhungu (Training Consultant) together with James, held a very rewarding and fruitful meeting with all the cleaners concerned. The message was quite clear; these cleaners believed they had the potential to become Bidvest Prestige Group managers! No time has been wasted and very soon these cleaners will further pursue their dreams of becoming managers and improving their lives, by embarking on a structured skills program.

This program will cover topics like, Planning, Leading, Communicating, Organizing, Motivating, Problem Solving and Time Management. It is very encouraging to see that cleaners supported by their managers, are actually taking charge of their own lives and making use of the resources which exist within Bidvest Prestige Group.”
